A Kukudushi®️ is the transformed shell of a snail which goes by the Latin name of ‘Cerion Uva Uva’. This snail is exclusively found on Curaçao. The native people this tropical island, the Arawak indians, whose civilization was marked by their deep respect for nature and spirituality, used the snail shells as a decoration for the body such as collars and bracelets.
